About us
Why the name BUBU-LEO?
In Christian’s memory, our organization is named “BUBU”. Christian was born with multiple disabilities. He could only say a few words and called himself by the name “Bubu”. He died at the age of 19. His father is one of the founders and supporters of the BUBU-LEO organization. In our hearts and with our BUBU-LEO organization, Christian lives on and can help sick children with us.
- LEO is the first child from Slovakia, from the High Tatras, to whom our organization BUBU-LEO provided financial support for rehabilitation.

Our mission is to provide love and support to children with disabilities. We believe that all children deserve a chance at a happy and fulfilling life, regardless of their physical or mental limitations.
Helping children and parents with medical care, before and after treatment
We provide comprehensive care and support not only for children undergoing treatment, but also for their families. Our aim is to facilitate this difficult process and provide the necessary emotional and practical support before, during and after treatment.
We provide financial support without bureaucracy
We are here to help quickly and efficiently. Our financial support is designed to be easily accessible without unnecessary administrative hurdles, so that families can use the resources they need where they are needed most, without delay.

Bubu-Leo is an organization that is dedicated with heart and soul to helping children with physical and mental disabilities around the world. Our mission is focused on providing a holistic approach to supporting these extraordinary children. We implement diverse programs that include special education initiatives, therapies to develop motor and communication skills, and we also provide psychological support not only for the children, but also for their families. Bubu-Leo also partners with local communities and medical institutions to ensure that each child receives individual and effective assistance. We believe that every child, regardless of their abilities, has the right to love, education and the opportunity to reach their full potential.
